Die beiden Betreiberinnen sind super nett, das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet (Lodge), aber gemütlich und sehr sauber.
Wenn man kein Problem damit hat, ein Stückchen weiter zu fahren, absolut empfehlenswert. Für den Weg am besten mit Offlinekarten arbeiten, wir hatten oft keinen Empfang zwischen den Bergen. Ansonsten war es mit Google Maps sehr gut zu finden.

Our stay at Aguila de Osa Rainforest & Marine Adventure Lodge was without doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip through Costa Rica.
The location is simply spectacular. Surrounded by lush rainforest and overlooking the waters of Drake Bay, the lodge feels wonderfully remote and peaceful. Getting there is already part of the adventure, and once you arrive, you truly feel as if you have entered a different world – surrounded by nature, wildlife, and the sounds of the rainforest.
What made our stay particularly special, however, was the wonderful team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and personal, and we felt very well looked after throughout our stay. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble.
We were also very impressed by the food. The meals were fresh, varied, beautifully prepared, and something we looked forward to every day. Enjoying excellent food in such an extraordinary setting made the experience even more memorable.
Aguila de Osa is also a fantastic base for exploring this incredible part of Costa Rica. Its location provides excellent access to both Corcovado National Park and Caño Island, making it ideal for anyone who wants to combine comfort with wildlife, diving, and adventure. (Aguila De Osa Costa Rica)
For us, the diving trips to Caño Island were particularly unforgettable. Seeing whitetip reef sharks and the incredible marine life was already fantastic, but encountering a huge whale shark at close range turned one of our dives into a genuine once-in-a-lifetime experience. 🐋🦈
We loved the combination of adventure and relaxation: spending the day exploring the rainforest or the underwater world and then returning to this beautiful lodge, enjoying a good meal and simply taking in the surroundings.
Due to the location, the internet connection was rather patchy.
Furthermore, you should be aware that this nature-based experience does not include air conditioning.
However, the temperature was always manageable.
