Man Guest is a family run hotel, and the charming family are all very welcoming and hospitable. Our host prepared two of the most delicious meals we have eaten in three weeks of touring Sri Lanka, and the breakfasts were equally as delicious. And very reasonably priced.
It is in a great location to the archeological museum and ruins which we thoroughly enjoyed on bikes rented from the hotel. We spent an evening on a lake safari, watching elephants and a beautiful sunset.
They organised a car transfer to our next destination for the same price as Pick Me, and accompanied us on the journey. We thoroughly recommend this friendly hotel.

Location was fabulous with all rooms upstairs with paddy field views from the balcony. Close to the ancient ruins so easy to get to early in the day and then come back and check out. The room was large spacious and clean, dinner was delicious and plentiful. Staff and host were a delight

Great value accommodation in Polonnaruwa. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We rented two bikes to explore the ancient city and the location could not be better - a three minute ride from the ticket office. Highly-recommended!

The friendliness and the food were amazing. Our host was delightful and looked after us providing a wonderful dinner and breakfast. Very nice view over the ricefields.
Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.
