Was able to make me a gluten free breakfast. Location close to ancient city (bike and tuktuk hire) and restaurants. Had a shop for buying water. Cute dog who likes belly rubs. Very kind people who run it.

Friendly staff, perfect location, well maintained premises, comfortable room and overall a good experience
Could have provided breakfast option in advance, preferably on the previous day. Both local and foreign tourists generally prefer Sri Lankan breakfast and it would be better if the same is catered.

I had a great stay at Sahan's, everyone was lovely and I was greeted with a fresh cold juice and information about how to visit the sites. I rented a bike which was super convenient, the location was ideal - right by restaurants and shops and very close to the lake and the museum to start my visit of the ancient city. If I'm ever back I will be sure to stay here again. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable.

Excellent stay, rooms are simple but spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location close to the ancient city and lots of restaurants and minimarts. I arranged a bike through them to explore which was perfect and in good condition. The host and the rest of staff are super friendly, and they helped get me to Sigiriya using their own tuk tuk. Everything was a very fair price. Plus they have very cute dog. Thank you!
Be aware it is close to the main road so you may get some traffic noise, but it is not too bad
