It is a property that has an old time charm about it and it was close to the places I was going to visit and eat. What makes this property really tick is the cheerful, beautiful, wonderful young host, Kusum, who is so enthusiastic and welcoming, and goes above and beyond to help and please. It is amazing that she handles everything single hand-idly, including the entire breakfast for all the hosts.
The Internet speed wasn’t that great in the evening. But the next morning it was horrible. Had to use an alternative ssid which was only slightly better. Also, parking wasn’t convenient. I had to find a public parking spot that had meters that were not in English and worked only with coins. I got a parking ticket. But again, Kusum came to the rescue.

Excellent renovation work, authentic decor, location near the citadel (would have direct access if stairs fixed). The bar & pool room were a nice addition. Breakfast had a good selection of food. Bathroom was clean. The owner trusted us with helping ourselves from the bar in the evening. Staff was very friendly.
The rooms decor was not particularly to my taste. For British people, beans should be served warm. Milk was a bit limited at breakfast. All the above were easily rectified when requested though.

This is a very old, very rustic property with only basic amenities at the base of the citadel. We can see the interest value in its quirky furnishings but found the hundreds of knick-knacks to be not good for hayfever, struggled with the poor lighting and lack of electrical outlets in the rooms (for example one outlet for the bedside lamp and the mobile air conditioner) and felt the difficult key lock entry and exit to the rooms to be potentially unsafe. No doubt some people would enjoy this property. We didn’t.
