The views from the room were spectacular. The room itself and the bathroom, both spotless. The owner and family were very welcoming.
Unfortunately, no warning was given of the steep slope to the accommodation and then the two flights (there were three flights in total) to the room. Being of a certain age and in the heat, it was a bit of a challenge. It would not have put us off but it would have been nice to know up front. The accommodation and welcome we received more than made up for this though.

Loved the closeness to the city but nice and quiet at night, loved the friendly family they do a fantastic job cleaning. Room was lovely with terrace and chairs, fridge and water inside the room which is a fantastic touch. Walking distance to little Adam’s peak and 9 arch bridge.
Nothing. Some may think it’s abit steep up the hill and the steps but it’s really not that bad once you do it a few times. Or tuktuk.

The place was so convenient to the shopping and restaurants street but slightly up of a hill where it is not crowded and you could sleep well.
Also, the view was spectacular 🤩

We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The view of Ella Rock was gorgeous. The room was clean and spacious with water and tea, coffee, a bar fridge and kettle. The owner was gracious and helpful and we enjoyed chatting to her and her daughter. She even carried out suitcases up the stairs for us! We loved the seating area outside our room, drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the view. It was close to the centre of town without the noise and hustle of being in the centre. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!
