It was clean and not far to walk downtown for some wonderful food and pubs. There was good signage for rules like labeling your food just didn't see anything about not being able to access the fridge when we left early.
Felt so secure with swipe keys for the floor and there room...it was fantastic.
The woman at reception didn't tell us that the lift doesn't work at night and that we couldn't get in to get our items or if the fridge early in the morning. We would have taken or drinks to our room with us if we'd known.

The Nest was a fabulous find for my family and I. Our specific access needs were well catered for, and exceeded expectations. My sons are disabled and we needed disabled parking, a twin room with adapted bathroom, with level access via a lift. My wife and I had a double room, also ensuite, along the corridor. Both rooms, and the whole hostel, were spotlessly clean, yet complemented with a homely, loft-style decor. Optional continental breakfast is available and affordable at £8 a head. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful making our stay easy and pleasurable. I'd recommend it and will stay again if visiting Galway.

I liked the vibe, the design. The location was good. The beds comfortable, but small.
The twin room was very small. The bathroom tiny. The hostel is on a busy street. The breakfast was very poor. In the night we could hear doors slamming in the corridor.
