Stara Fuzina is a lovely village and the Location of accommodation was excellent. Tony was a very welcoming host even showed us the old mill working which was amazing. He also let us use his bikes to get around which was really helpful as we didn't have a car. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen area were well equipped. Wonderful walking/cycling from the doorstep and some lovely restaurants. Bike ride to Bled was stunning as was Lake Bohinj. Definitely worth getting a Julian Alps card to visit places we recouped our costs easily. The cheese museum in Stara Fuzina is really great and less than 100 yards. The church at Bohinj is pretty special inside too. We absolutely loved our trip and hope to return one day. There is so much to do in the area its wonderful. I think the bigger apartments would be nicer as they have more of a view. Pr Mostnic did lovely food and friendly staff and was easy walk from apartment.
Being on the ground floor the apartment had no natural light towards the sleeping and relaxing area. There were no pictures on the walls which would help make it feel more homely but we still had a lovely time.

If this place were closer to where I live, I would already plan on coming back, and I wouldn't write this review as I wouldn't want to reveal to others what a nice quiet place this is so that I could have it for myself the next time I come. Stara Fužina is such a relaxing place, beautiful and tidy. There are some tourists but nothing compared to Ribcev Las or Bled. Bled has of course a much bigger variety of stores and restaurants but Stara Fužina wins for relaxation and nature. Every day a woman from the village walked a cow past our house. We often saw small kittens playing in the neighbouring garden, for example when sitting on the back terrace.
Our apartment in the Old Mill House was better equipped than most similar properties. There was not much missing in terms of kitchen utensils and appliances. There were even complementary coffee pods for the Nespresso machine.
The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
The host was very friendly and came quickly when we needed something.
It was slightly tricky to find the house in the beginning, as one has to drive into a small side street to access it. The parking place is right behind the house.
There are two grocery stores very close by, which was very convenient. There is a great restaurant right next door.
One can access many hiking paths directly from Stara Fužina, such as the Mostnica gorge and the Vogar viewpoint, from which one can go even further up on Planina Blato and Planina pri Jeseru. The Bohinj lake is also in walking distance. It's a wonderful lake, with very clear water.
The WiFi was mostly not working. It kept disconnecting. I suspect that the router was poorly positioned, perhaps in a different building or different floor. The mobile network also didn't seem to have great coverage in this location but it was managable.

Great location, really cool small stream right next to tge outdoor space, great design, many games which the kids enjoyed.

Location was right where we wanted to be. The view once we got outside of the room was awesome. It was great to have a kitchen so we didn't have to go out and eat during our time here.
The pictures did not accurately represent the room - It is actually in a basement and really dark. The smell was off putting and the laundry made our clothes smell weird. It was a useful room, but not romantic for our honeymoon. The host wasn't communicative on how to get keys until we reached out.
