The moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Elena, the host. The barn is a wonderful old building, renovated for comfort with much respect for the history. The room was clean and comfortable, with brownies as a nice welcome gesture. Every morning, a delicious breakfast is cooked to order.
There a few great pubs in the surrounding villages, all worth a visit. Again, we were grateful to Elena for her advice.
After having stayed in several different places in Norfolk, this is the one we'll probably return to.
It's a great quiet location in the middle of the countryside, but that does mean you need a car to get there and it's a bit of a walk to the villages.

Gorgeous house, great location for my needs, lovely seeing local wildlife on the drive in and out too (deer, hares, birds of prey). Beautifully decorated room, comfy bed and a choice of pillows. Didn't sample the coffee but the machine looked good, and there was an excellent selection of teas! Elena was very accommodating when I turned up several hours earlier than anticipated and she cooked my requested mushrooms and fried egg on toast nicely in the morning :)

It was fine.
Not having my own tea & coffee in my room. The communal machine wasn't good for just hot water
