The property was in an idyllic location: a quiet street across from extensive parkland but also close to the town centre. We had everything we needed. We were made to feel welcome.

I liked the quiet location. I also liked the bed. Veronica very helpfully drove me back to Murphy's Motors and Tyres, which was much appreciated. I had arrived the night before in the cab of a truck because my car needed to be transported on a tray truck, because hitting a pothole had destroyed my tyre.
Breakfast could have had greater variety. Some fruit would have been appreciated. It took me a while to find the teabags and cups.

Loved the host Veronica, lovely and friendly and accomodating. I'm afraid there was a little mix up though...not Veronica's fault, but as a single person I didn't realise that when I booked for 4 people, it was interpreted as needing only 2 x beds. We actually needed 4 beds, so Veronica very quickly arranged for the two other sofas beds to be made up. It was much appreciated. Thank you.
Breakfast. When a bed and breakfast advertises breaksfast, we expect toast, butter, spreads and a choice of cereals. However, there was only homemade muesli in the fridge. Whilst I'm sure that it was fine, none of us felt like muesli. If we had known that that was all there was on offer, we would have brought our own food. As such, we didn't and had to go elsewhere for breakfast which was an additional cost we didn't plan for.
