Location was fantastic, nice cold river behind the building for a quick swim.
The beds were a bit hard to my liking, but that is a matter of opinion.

Comfortable room overlooking the Rio Trevelez, clean with good facilities. A good base for walking in the Alpujarras & exploring the surrounding area.
The hostal is good, if a little pricy. Trevelez is very quiet in mid September with limited food options.

The location is fine and the beds were comfortable. A young woman who worked in the shop was really friendly and went out of her way to help us. It was very clean when we arrived and they cleaned and left clean towels every day. They do the best they can with what they have. It was very reasonable in terms of price but I wouldn't pay more for the room we had.
The bathroom smelt bad and it needs renovating in general as everything is just a bit old to be honest.
I thought there was a lovely living room with glass walls and a fireplace but this is the apartment above the shop (you have to check-in in the ham shop across the street) so I was disappointed. The room we were in was very basic and old but with an extra radiator was warm and comfortable (apart from the bathroom which was cold and smelt bad). It looks better in the pictures.
