Nice location, clean room

View is the best this room could offer: direct view to the park.
Nearby food and drinks: eatery on ground floor is affordable, ideal for quick bites when it's raining outside; local breakfast across the street is worth a try.
Nearby shopping: 7-Eleven, Familymart, drugstore are within comfortable walking distance with sidewalk shielded from rain.
Nearby attraction: President Palace is roughly 10 minutes on foot.
Location is actually not very convenient eventhough it's not far from main station.
No soundproof at all. The noise at night from neighbors opening and closing the door is simply too much to bear after a long day wandering outside.
Cleanliness: The floor in shower room doesn't look very clean.
I assumed room cleaning was provided by default when the “Do not disturb” sign was removed, but no cleaning was provided after I removed the sign. It seems that guests need to specifically request housekeeping.
Bathroom amenities: I understand that the hotel is complying with Taiwan’s new regulations, but at the very least, they could provide hand soap in a dispenser or bottle, similar to the shampoo and body wash.

The location near the red line was perfect. The staff were friendly and the check in and check out process was easy. Everything was clean.
Some of the facilities are a little dated and the room was small.
