Great and comfortable hotel for exploring Monteverde

Staff was helpful and friendly. They showed us a map with information of the various activities around Monteverde and organised a tour for us Breakfast was nice and delicious

I will stay at Santa Fe BandB again

Isuera, Issy, and her husband were the best part of the stay! They were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. She booked all my tours and transportation for me. The breakfast was delicious and the bed was comfortable. I loved the sunny areas outside the rooms.

Good for a one night stay

Very friendly staff, breakfast was very good. Room was smaller than anticipated, but good for a one night stay.

In the description, not stated as a shared bathroom (that would have been nice to know). Parking is on a steep incline and limited... wasn't really thrilled about that. The location wasn't too far out of town, but more than walking distance.

Friendly owners and good breakfast!

Friendly owners and a good breakfast included in our booking! Also the owners gave good local restaurant advice.. including our favourite Cafe Cappuchino!

No outside communal areas to relax or enjoy the view, which is ok in some places but the town has lots of hills and steep roads so would beneficial instead of having to buy a coffee in a cafe any time you wanted to be outside. The room was also not cleaned at any point during our 4 night stay,and we were only offered new towels once. Also note, there are also lots of loud barking dogs in the area so light sleepers may struggle, but there are dogs everywhere in Costa Rica.

Very cozy and comfortable

Very friendly host, she helped with tour booking and transfer. Very good location, 5 min walk from huge market, and even less to nice places for dinner. breakfast was also nice. highly recommend!

Christian and Isa are a delightful couple - very welcoming- and work with you to make time in Monteverde and with them e

walking distance to most things in Monteverde - safe and secure off the main road and distanced from pedestrian and vehicular traffic- private bath and shower - comfortable bed - clean and neat room -fully cooked to order breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, juice and cafe and mostly: wonderful couple as hosts!

Excellent stay. Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

The morning breakfast was a nice start to our day. Eggs, toast, coffee and fresh fruit. The owners were very nice and pleasant, easy to talk to and they gave us a Spanish lesson as well.😊 we would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Monte Verde.

Hotel Santa Fe is an excellent property close to town. It is a value hotel but far exceeds value. The owners are helpful and the breakfast delicious.

Amazing family owned hotel who were incredibly pleasant, kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and a great start of the day! Overall, best value for money!

The water had to options high presure cold or very low pressure hot, which didn't bother us so much for two days at monteverde.

Nice hosts, lovely family. Somewhat central

The location of the place was good, 15min or so to the town center; however, down the hill. The breakfast was great with a homemade jam. The hosts were a lovely family, very helpful and accommodating. The wifi didn't work for me; so, they restarted the router for me a few times (however, the wifi was still not the best). Had a few restaurants near by.

The room we were given was close to the breakfast room and the entrance, so we had some noise. The room had windows looking to the hall, so you had to keep the curtains closed, which made it darker. The beds were not comfortable.

Great accomodations. Delightful owners, very welcoming and delicious full breakfast. Close to town so you can walk. Has a lovely glass hallway with seating to relax & look out. Great tour suggestions and MV is such a beautiful, breathtaking area. Must see. Highly recommend.

Very nice staff, works fine for one night, but wifi and shower could be better

Very friendly and helpful staff, helped us multiple times with coordinating or resolving issues with shuttle pick ups. Large bathroom. Homey feel.

Wifi was spotty or slow, shower doesn’t get very warm, pillows were too high for me.

we’d definitely stay here if we come back!

Isaura and Cristian are super nice, they booked all the tours and tree house restaurant for us, and the transportation from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio was taking care of too which was a huge relieve. Their breakfast was taste, healthy, everything‘a wonderful!
