If you want to visit a picturesque town and stay in a lovely BnB then you can't go wrong with this

The room itself was clean, spacious and well equipped. The view from the balcony outside my room was of the river nore which was just stunning to wake up to. The host was extremely nice and the breakfast was fantastic. I'd highly recommend a stay here and a visit to Thomastown itself

Non vale il prezzo pagato. Peccato

Comodo parcheggio interno con ingresso un po’ stretto. Camera abbastanza grande per due persone, presenti 3 letti (1 matrimoniale - 1 singolo). Colazione buona abbondante.

La camera non era perfettamente pulita, abbiamo rinvenuto macchie marroni in rilievo sulle lenzuola (lato interno) che abbiamo chiesto di sostituire. La sostituzione è stata fatta ma a nostro parere il proprietario ci è sembrato scocciato dalla richiesta. La camera non è ben isolata, sia a livello acustico che termico. Siamo stati svegliati in piena notte da rumori provocati dagli ospiti della stanza sopra e dalla porta d’ingresso entravano spifferi d’aria fredda. Abbiamo potuto sentire chiaramente uccelli, gatti e macchine per tutta la notte. La camera è situata al pianterreno pertanto per avere privacy è necessario chiudere sempre la tenda e accendere le luci non potendo sfruttare la possibile luce esterna. Non ho apprezzo nella zona bar della stanza i biscotti non confezionati singolarmente ma messi in un mini barattolo.

Terrifc Thomastown TowerHouse B&B

Thomastown is the quinatessial Irish countryside town. The TowerHouse B&B was prefect with it's stone facade and location right off the river. Our host and fellow travelers were friendly. The views spectacluar. After unpacking, we hopped a few of the local pubs. Breakfast was special in a sunroom overlooking the river. I would have love to have stayed longer but we had to rush off to catch a tee time.

Unique clean and comfortable stay

Exceptional accommodation in an exceptional village. A very special place. Very historic accommodation with ambience and very warm hospitality shown to us. Fantastic breakfast - I very much hope to return

Only that I didn’t have an early morning flight to catch and could have enjoyed a relaxing morning in the super comfortable bed.

Stop over only

I liked the breakfast, well made and presented. No fault there at all.

I had 2 kids and we found the WIFI was bad. The kids will always want very good WIFI. The B&B was a B&B iv stayed in much better and to be fair much worse. In saying that I won't book there again. But mainly because of the lack of things to do in the area and the distance to Kilkenny City. But if ur looking for a place to sleep for the night with no kidding a great breakfast then Stay here.

Disappointing for the price

Central position in town, good breakfast.

Some listed amenities were unavailable (eg. iron, dryer). Overpriced compared to most other accommodation we have used in Ireland.

Peaceful near Kilkenny

Nice and quiet location. Room were of good size, with kettle for tea and coffee. Bathroom was also of good size. Great breakfast inside the owner's house. The house is awsome.

Double was only 140 so a bit small for us. The light goes throught the curtains in the morning so you wake up at 5 am in summer... Room was on the ground floor so anyone passing by could see inside.

Great. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay. Old historic building yet modern bedrooms. Everything you would need in the bedroom. Like a hotel. Yummy breakfast cooked to order. Delicious coffee. Very accommodating to our party one of whom had severe food allergies. Would go out of my way to stay there if in the area. Highly recommend.

Because of my health issues I’d have loved if there was a mattress topper on the bed. As it was I was alone in a large bed so I doubled up the duvet as a topper.😁

Great breakfast, quiet small town location close to Kilkenny, and not far from Wexford and Waterford. Great "to order" hot breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Location right in the middle of the town was good. The only place to get an evening meal is Tim's Bar which is very good. Other than that there are a couple of cafe's ( only during the day). Good visit to Jerpoint Abbey - a must see.

Room could have been cleaned during our three day stay. Be aware - There is nowhere to get an evening meal in Thomastown on a Tuesday - except a Pizza.
