It was just the right sise for the island, not too big and not too small
The water villa was fantastic, a few steps down and we were swimming with the fishes

We stayed at water jacuzzi vila
I selected Vilamendhoo in this vacation which is 10 years wedding anniversary. Because once before I have enjoyed snorkeling in Cayman island very best, I wanted my wife also to enjoy snorkeling.
In my experiences, the snorkeling ranking top was Cayman island. No.2 is N/A. No.3 is Cancun. No.4 is Seychelles.
Vilamendhoo is much more than expected. We enjoyed snorkeling a lot. We saw a turtle, big sharks, small sharks, stingrays and lots of tropical fishes. I've never seen such a rich coral reef. Now my No.1 is Vilamendhoo.
Room is clean, no sand on floor. Shower, air conditioner is OK. Bed is good to sleep. Wifi is fast.
Restaurant is good. But after 4th day I'm tired of food. I'm Japanese, then I miss Japanese food.
Stuff are always kind.
Price is a little bit. . . .
Anyway we are going to come to Vilamendhoo again in 15 years wedding anniversary.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the island is spotlessly clean. The house reef is incredible, with truly breathtaking marine life. Snorkeling and diving experiences are simply unforgettable.
The buffet meals are excellent and constantly changing, offering a great variety every day. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and all equipment — including the air conditioning, minibar, and television — works perfectly.
The staff are exceptionally polite, attentive, and professional. They carry out their duties with genuine care, dedication, and warmth.
I stayed here with my nine-year-old son, and we both had a wonderful and memorable time.
A special note for the dive center: simply outstanding. A perfect combination of professionalism, seriousness, friendliness, and personal attention. Our sincere thanks to the entire team.

Stunning beaches with crystal-clear water
Excellent house reef and great snorkeling right from the island
Friendly, polite, and helpful staff throughout the stay
Very clean and well-maintained resort

Poor handling of our arrival and transfer planning
Our flight from Malé to the resort was scheduled very early in the morning even though no room was available for us on arrival
We already had a hotel room in Malé until 12 noon, so we could have stayed there comfortably
Since the resort knew the room wouldn’t be ready, the flight should have been scheduled later to avoid unnecessary waiting
We went on the whale shark excursion twice but did not see any whale sharks
I understand this depends on nature and is not the resort’s fault, but mentioning it for future guests’ expectations
