The Japanese style Rooms were very cute abd comfortable. The stuff speaks good english and they are very accommodating towards food restrictions for the dinner!
Onsen is also allowed for tattooed Guest!
The waterfountain was very loud. And because it was a bit small it was really loud and not that enjoyable.

The room is so clean and spacious, the biggest i had stayed in in Japan. There's beverage bar available to guests anytime of the day. The hotel is relatively near the station and includes breakfast.

Onsen, washing facilities, breakfast included.
If you have a river view, ensuite room it might be a good place to stay.
Good for a short visit only perhaps
Single rooms had no windows so did not take advantage of fresh evening air or views. Bit claustrophobic.
There was no shower facilities other than the onsen. A sink in the room would have been helpful along with a mirror.
Arrivng at 2.50 pm and being told to wait, along with many others, till 3pm check in seemed a bit pedantic and unfriendly, setting the tone for the whole stay. Staff did not engage with guests at all and were not visible.
Location is on the edge of town so not an easy walk with luggage.
Poor designed with no natural ventilation... evening air was so cool and fresh but no windows were opened or had fly screens so corridors etc quite stuffy.
