Comfortable room with great views.
We were disappointed to find that the onside restaurant the Gather, was closed and felt rather isolated. We didn't not want the food deliveries so therefore had to drive into Gatehouse of Fleet for breakfast.
Your signage on the site is beautiful but impossible to read in the torrential rain as we arrived. Therefore we had difficulty finding our snug.

Never used the breakfast. Location was fab . Comfortable beds. Very quiet.
Sofas could do with a good clean, quite stained. Tree tops blocked a bit of our view. Missed having a place to eat on site. Shame coffee house was shut. Never saw any staff.

We stayed in The Nest, the view was amazing, and ordered a breakfast on the first morning which was delicious.
There was a handmade cake in the fridge on arrival.
We used the Hot Tub and enjoyed a quiet relaxing weekend.
The lack of staff was a little irritating, it is always nice to have someone to speak to if needed. Arranging it all through apps / texts was off putting. However we had nothing to complain about, we just wanted to ask about more milk and how to arrange collection of the breakfast basket.
