Great location near the lake and not far from Galway/Wild Atlantic way.
The room, the kitchen and dining room were clean and well organised. Good games room for the children to use.
The bunk beds weren't very comfortable.
A short introduction on what facilities were available for us to use would have been useful; we had to find out and missed the games room at first.
Parking spaces were a bit tight, especially round the back.
In theory it's quiet time from 11pm but it was noisy at night, with people dragging suitcases, shouting and running around.

Lisa and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful on our arrival - we arrived with multiple vehicles and a team with us which was no issue

The location is terrific. There's so much to do in the area and the surrounding area is very scenic.
This is a hostel, not a hotel. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathroom was not very clean and we had to rent our towels. The stairs up to our room were steep and dangerous. If you have mobility issues, don't stay here. There were lots of cobwebs in the hallway and the room. If you're looking for the barest of necessities, then this is a good place to stay.
