After a 9 hour motorcycle ride from Italy to Tresnay in 35-degree heat, I was met by a delightful lady who showed me to my huge room with a lovely walk in shower where the air conditioning had been on and the cool air was absolute heaven.
A shower and 10 hours of sleep later, I could then absorb the location
Opening the window and shutter in the morning, you can really appreciate the countryside
A leisurely breakfast and them more mile munching to get to the ferry
It's a good find, all in all, a very nice place to be
Not a complaint, but the roads have been altered in the area, and GPS has not quite caught up
Watch for local signage for Tresnay, and you will find the chateau. it is worth the effort

Quiet, friendly, easy going

Huge rooms and very considerate to have an air conditioner in the bedroom as the weather was very warm. Shower and bath were excellent.
We slept well despite the noise of the air-con so we are happy that it did it's job.
Breakfast was basic but nice.
Still some more renovation required, the wooden floor of the bedroom was slippery but that was not really a problem.
