Situated in Summerland, this attractive house for $875 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Property Features We are located on a ridge line and positioned so that it is virtually private in all directions and has ocean views from most places on the property. •Bedrooms • Three full ensuite bedrooms each with private bathroom and access without disturbing any other bedroom; two bedrooms have king size beds and one has a queen size all have the finest linen available like 800-1000 thread count sheets and fine quality mattresses. They are furnished in a combination of antiques and contemporary pieces and art to create a feeling of comfort, privacy, and serenity for your stay. One bedroom has an electronic fireplace and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and single pot cooktop. •Bathrooms Each bathroom has high end natural shampoos and conditioner and makeup remover. •Three bathrooms each one has unique features including antique Bali and Thai doors, claw foot bathtub, glass enclosed showers, oil rubbed bronze fixtures, antique sink from India, antique cabinets. Extras include bath robes, shower essentials & blow dryers. •Living Room Gas fireplace, large screen TV, game table and games, finest quality antique and contemporary furniture •Gourmet Kitchen: Everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes, including convection oven, latest technology refrigerator, filtered water, copper country sink, Ninja blender, Keurig coffee maker, and various utensils, high quality pots & pans, Henkel knives, silverware and designer dishes. Truly a Healing Sanctuary. The attention to every detail was amazing, from the beautifully designed home to the extra coffee, tea, soaps, etc that were provided. Our stay was everything we had hoped it would be - The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It is truly a sanctuary from the yoga studio to the sauna to the outdoor living space - everything was thought of for our stay and most things were provided - Denise, the house manager was absolutely amazing and was so accommodating and in communication when we had questions. We had a wonderful week unwinding and we would absolutely go back there in a heartbeat. We were in our own little paradise that had hummingbirds visit us each day. The outside grounds are just so beautifully landscaped.

This is the first time I looked for a rental and I hit it out of the park. I booked this place for a milestone girls birthday trip and it was better than the pictures. The view is amazing, the yard is amazing, the house was a perfect layout and size. The location was close to everything.

Lovely, comfortable, well-equipped home with gorgeous garden filled with peaceful reading spots. Nice views of the pacific too! Great location, far enough away from the highway to limit road noise but close enough to easily walk down to the cool stores on Lillie and enjoy the delicious coffees and baked goods at Field and Fort.

It was a very nice house and beds were comfortable and the town is cute. We drove our car down for the trip and the entrance to the driveway had a raised lip that made me feel uncomfortable every time the car drove over it, but honestly, if that's the only complaint I have, you should be able to discern how otherwise charming it was in every other way.

We were thrilled to discover The Sacred Space and the connection back to our house- Jack and Rose own both!

We used this amazingly peaceful home as a center for a golfing tournament. Loved it all. The yoga room was used daily. Good parking situation for three cars. Will absolutely come back.

This beautiful property created the perfect vibe for us while we were in town for my daughter’s wedding. This was our second stay at this wonderful space and it once again lived up to all the points I made in my March review. A great, restful, well appointed home and grounds. In response to one of the other reviews - we were not bothered at all by any 101 noise from about 5 or six blocks away. And once again Denise was a pleasure to deal with.

This house was set up perfectly for our family. We spent most of our time out on the deck reading on the "day beds". We had friends over for dinner one night and the house was great for entertaining . We used the BBQ for dinner one night and it was better than the one I have at home.
We are planning on staying here next year.

This house is the true meaning of sacred space, the second you walk in you leave all the emotional baggage and bad energy at the door. The aroma of the house is SO inviting. The rooms are incredible and the backyard makes you feel like you’re in your own private little Bali oasis. To be honest we spent most of our time in the backyard because it’s SO peaceful. The experience was one I’ll never forget- we can’t wait to come back.

The house was perfect for our relaxing long weekend. The owners do an amazing job with the little details you don’t even think about until you see them. Everything was clean and organized. The landscaping is incredible. We would absolutely stay here again!

Best VRBO we've ever rented, from start to finish. We've probably stayed at 30+ properties. This one was special, right from an initial conversation with the manager (Denise). She was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, addressing questions right away and even delivering decaf pods for the Keurig within 15 minutes of our request.
The property itself is truly peaceful. The pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor spaces are physically linked but thanks to creative landscaping, enable private sitting areas and nooks to be discovered throughout, including water elements with fresh floating flowers. The front outdoor area is like a living room, complete with rug, lighting for the evening, comfortable seating and a large table, and gorgeous views of the ocean and the garden.
The kitchen and two of the three bedrooms open out the garden, creating a lovely indoor-outdoor feel. The large master includes a seating area, perfect for work with a table, wet bar, Keurig, and a patio. The other large bedroom is on the opposite side of the house so two couples could easily have complete privacy. The third BR is small but sweet and includes a fine selection of books by leading Western Buddhist teachers. Beds were super, including high thread count sheets.
The living room is comfy and welcoming. Throughout the house, you will find little contemplative seating areas which have a view of the ocean or a water element in the garden or something else to help you relax.
The kitchen is equipped with high end pans, pots, and utensils but is a small if you want to cook full-on meals for 4-6 people. Do-able but best if only one or two people are working in it.
Oh, and don't forget the yoga studio which is equipped with mats and opens onto the garden. There is also a sauna in it - sounds odd but it all fits together. Overall, the house is so thoughtfully outfitted that you only have to wish for something and it's pretty much at your fingertips.
As is the case throughout Summerland, the house is several blocks from 101. The freeway is audible but it did not detract from our stay.
This is the perfect house to relax and restore your spirit. We can't wait to return. Huge thanks to Jack and Rose for creating such a special space and sharing it with strangers, and to Denise for being such a wonderful host.

This place is an incredible sanctuary, and by far the best place I’ve ever stayed on a trip. We had a hard time leaving the backyard area the entire time we stayed!
