My first visit. The room was very good, well appointed and the bathroom exceptional. Good reno. Top spot on the edge of the lake. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
I didn't realise that it was a pub with accomodation upstairs until I arrived. That was ok, bar noise died at 10pm. Probably would have changed my dinner plans if I had known. Carpark and streets busy with regular punters, got myself a better carpark after they left. Thought the centre space with in the accomo a bit creepy really, still dont know what it was.

It was clean and tidy
They supplied a kettle, tea cups and milk but no coffee/ tea bags.

- accommodation was modern and clean
- having a bistro downstairs was an excellent easy opportunity for dinner after a long day of travel (bistro food was well priced and delicious).
- noise from the pub was minimal
- easy access to parking
- view of the water is beautiful
The pub is located on a very busy street, which was both hard to cross and the street noise was next level overnight (we weren't even the closest room to the busy road). All night, we heard motorbikes, trucks and cars driving down the road. Incredibly noisy. Suggest ear plugs.
