The house was beautiful and Maria and her family could not have been more welcoming or helpful. It was so quiet and has the world’s best view!
No A/C! Maybe I should have expected this and/ or read closer. This was my first trip to Europe and it never occurred to me that they would not have A/C everywhere. We happened to be there at the hottest and longest heat wave in memory. We had it booked much earlier originally and due to a family emergency had to postpone. This was the only time we could go again. Lesson learned. Never book Europe in summer!

The property at MariaHome was stunning.!! The views of Vesuvius every morning from the balcony were just the perfect way to start the day.!
Location wise.. it was close enough to walk down to the heart of Sorrento each day, but you would need a taxi or hire car to get back up.!!!

The location is beautiful and the grounds are amazing, with flowers and lemons growing everywhere. Maria, the host, was fantastic and eager to help with any questions or situation. It is a short car ride to town, but there are other options as well. The view from the roof top deck and the unit's balcony are a great place to start and end the day.
