Una estancia poco confortable

Tenía estaciones de bus cercanas. Había café a disposición de los huéspedes, una tostadora para preparar sánduches calientes.

La habitación era en el ático y el techo era muy bajo lo que hacía que el desplazamiento sea bastante incómodo. Inclusive al salir de la habitación para bajar las escaleras se debía tener cuidado de no golpearse la cabeza. No había shampoo, ni jabón en el baño. Si bien estaba clara la hora del check in, en varios lugares suelen permitir el ingreso al momento que uno llega para dejar maletas y descansar en áreas comunes, aquí no había una recepcionista y el ingreso era con clave que pese a que leyeron el mensaje a nuestra llegada (7:30 am), no recibimos ninguna contestación sino hasta casi las 10 que se nos envió el código para ingresar. Tuvimos que esperar fuera considerando que hacía bastante frío. Creo que habría sido genial que sólo nos dejen ingresar. Está claro que no nos iban a dar habitación sino hasta las 12 que nos habían indicado, pero al menos sentarse en el sofá de la sala comunal luego del viaje nos habría dado una mejor estancia, y solo tenían que enviar el código. Al final también me pidieron pagar 2 euros por noche por persona por concepto de impuestos, no recuerdo si eso lo advertían al momento de la reserva, pero es algo que los futuros huéspedes deben considerar.

Very good

The location was excellent and Sonia replied quite fast if I needed something. Check in was easy, we showed up early and she gave us instruction. I liked how quiet the general area was. There was water, utensils, and a microwave.

Wifi wasn’t working very well and bathrooms need some way to show they are occupied because someone else on my floor walked in on me. The shower on my floor kept flooding.

don't choose the single room

Great location on line 15E so direct from the town center and the person I messaged with questions always answered quickly. The place itself was nice and clean and a safe quiet street. Great communal are with plates and cutlery + kettle and coffee machine

I knew my room was a single room so I expected something small but it only had a tiny hole as a window. impossible to get fresh air in or see the outside and the bed was uncomfortable. The cleaner that check me in was super friendly but spoke no English and in 2 days I never saw anyone else so impossible to ask questions in person. Nice communal area with fridge but would have been nice to leave some coffee capsules and tea for people who just arrived.

There are Better Options

It is a short walk to several sites. There is a convenience store nearby.

I should have read the fine print to realize there was not a private bathroom. I'm not quite used to dormitory style accommodations. I also hit my head on the ceiling while walking up the stairs a couple times and I'm not tall. Judging by the scuffs on the ceiling where I bonked my head, I'm not alone.. Air conditioning would be nice to have on a hot day like during our stay. Needing to leave 4 Euros cash for tax was an inconvenience as it was our last day of a long trip and I was out of cash! I would prefer to have it added to the cost of the room upfront.

Good

Location is great, house is nice and clean

The room was not really for three adults. The sofa was not a proper extra bed and the mattress was so thin it might be suitable for little kids only. This is something the hosts could easily fix and haven’t done so. The rest of the room was good, but the price should not be for three adults.

Comfortable Stay, Clean location

Location is great, close to local attractions. Able to park car on street.

Parking can be challenging as there are few spots free. The shower door openings are narrow and can be a huge challenge if you are not skinny.

Good

This was a beautiful room . Nicely decorated and bright. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They were also very accommodating with our request to store our luggage until the room was ready.

Although there was a kitchen and eating area, I would have been nice to have had some coffee cartridges for the coffee maker as it's always a challenge to figure out which one is the correct one to buy. It wouldn't have cost them a lot to provide this. Although the location was such that it was easy to take the bus to the main attractions, it was actually out of the way. It would have been good to have had a map of local places to eat and buy things. Otherwise it seemed a little bit out of the way. But it was very safe and clean.

Disappointing

Location was really good. Living room with some facilities like fridge, sink, plates, cutlery was very well equipped.

The room didn't have window, only some hole(attached picture), which was not openable (on the picture from the offer it looked like a window), so it didn't smell well and it was really hard to breathe. There was a fun buy it didn't help much. Shared bathroom was dirty but it's rather fault of other guests, not the host. Bed wasn't comfortable, so I had to sleep in a specific position the whole night.

a good location

I believed I was booking a room with a private bath as it was called a ‘deluxe studio’ and the rest of the rooms were described as ‘double room with a shared bathroom’. Only way down in the description in small print did it say shared bathroom. I was fooled by this, what is a deluxe studio? Ultimately yes it was my bad but for others please advertise accordingly. It had very low sloped ceilings as the room was in what was probably once an attic, only a few square feet where you could stand up around the edges of the bed. So if you have any trouble walking bent over to avoid cracking your head, this is not for you. One small window and a fan helped to circulate air a bit. If you are looking for a budget room I would look elsewhere. Also, there seems to be an issue with TP supply, with a shared bathroom it should never be an issue unless customers are expected to bring their own.

A place to enjoy Belém and Lisbon

This was a very nice basic accommodation. It was nice and quiet at night. It’s more like a dorm type place with a shared space downstairs. It was a good base for our short stay in Lisbon. The host was responsive and helpful. We could easily access transit options.

Avoid if you don't wanna be eaten by insects during the night

Location was amazing. The property was clean.

However the shower was draining very slowly,which made showering experience horrible. i advised the property manager but they did not solve the problem. Last but not least we had a problem with an insect that bit mainly arms and neck and toes and it only happened during the night (fyi we kept the window closed)

Excellent localization, bus stop so close the house, house always clean, Paula and Claudia help us a lot, and Sra Sônia always answer questions in a good time.

The house always was warm in September because of all the windows were closed all the time. Also, in room number 9 there's not window, we only have 2 small fridges to put food for everybody in house and we can't use the kitchen, only a few electronic equipments in dinner room.
