BEST BIRTHDAY STAY EVER IN CAYE CAULKER !!

Check in was a breeze and the entire stay was smooth we had our own keys and did own thing. Every room has its own AC controls

The only thing is that i did not know to contact via WhatsApp once we water taxi'ed over but luckily a local contacted her for us on their phone and explained this and we were good to go afterwards.

Relaxed place to explore the island.

Very nice house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Nice pool shared with neighbours who were never there. Centrally located but just of the busy part, hardly any noise at night. Chris and Pat are lovely owners living nearby, who give you all the privacy but are always available if needed. Good airconditioning and beds with good matrasses. Highly recommended for a family with kids our group of friends. Close to a good dive and snorkelshop and great italian restaurant.

House was simple but perfect for our needs. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Pat arranged a taxi to meet us from the ferry and was there to welcome is as we arrived.

Two bedrooms and joining shower room are separate from the living room\kitchen and other bedroom. Only a minor inconvenience, but you have to go outside to go from one to the other.

Great place that is on the edge of town, close to everything, but still quiet.

Great location (close to all the shops and restaurants but in quieter area). The kitchen had a larger fridge and bottled water was complimentary. Overall, the house was very clean and whole grounds were well-kept. The pool was great to come back to during the heat of the day.

I didn't quite understand from the ad that the 2 adjoining bedroom only were accessible from outside the house. It was fine for us as our children are teens.

Family-friendly

One large space (3 bedrooms connected by a porch), perfect for a family with young adults. Extra space (kitchen, dining area, fridge) in one room was great as a hang out space. The pool is small, but great to cool you during the day. Centrally located—short walk to many restaurants and laundry service on the island. Owner, Patricia, was accommodating. She helped my kids who left early get a taxi in Belize City and allowed a slightly later 11am check out for us as we were getting a later ferry. Overall, good value stay for the island.

Wifi strength variable, would get kicked off at intervals. This was not the property’s fault, seems it is the internet provider and is just part of being on the island. Shower head in main bathroom plugged a bit causing drizzle and wide spray, took a while to rinse hair.

Exceptional

Close to everything. Amanda set up accommodations for us to be picked up and dropped off at the airport. It is the most beautiful dwelling on the island. It has a pool, kitchen, air conditioning, t.v. , and access to a balcony.

There is air conditioning for the bedroom but not so much in the living/ kitchen area. Get use to this because most of Caye Caulker Is already acclimated to the weather and loves the "go where the wind takes you" atmosphere. There is alot of wind on the island that combats the sweltering sun.

Seemed like San Pedro and Caye Caulker both are growing, we could not escape the construction noise.

Amanda's meeting us at the ferryboat was such a welcomed sight and her taking our luggage to the ferry on our departure was appreciated. The people and locals were just great. The garden is gorgeous. The master bedroom bed was fine. The pool, porch, and roof were great places to hang out and relax, with there being 4 of us the living room area was small but we knew that when we booked it. Th The location was good and convenient on Caye Caulker you are close to everything.

The interior was very dusty - we washed the cups, glasses, and dishes prior to using them. Some of the windows didn't have blinds or curtains and those that did could not be adjusted, if they had we could have had the windows covered during the day and the house would have been cooler. It didn't take long to cool down once the fans were running. The bed in the other room was very hard and uncomfortable. The living room furniture was... let's just say we covered it with beach towels prior to using it and the loveseat had definitely seen better days - it appeared previous renters went from the pool (while still wet) directly to the furniture in the living room previously maybe. The porch and roof top furniture had seen better days. Just thinking with these properties being as busy as they were while we were there, some of the furnishing could be updated.
