The location here can't be beat. The views off the front and back deck are delightful. There is also a small clothes washing machine which was helpful for the 3 days we stayed.
Our flight was cancelled and the next flight got us in a 3 a.m. to Athens. When we got the key for the front door, it would not open. So at 3 a.m., in a strange city, with our luggage on the street, we had to call the manager. She kept telling us that this had never happened before and that we needed to be patient. Not really helpful. Finally, we sent her a video of the problem, and she could see it was a problem with the door (not our lack of patience!), and she said she would send someone round in the morning (as in LATER in the morning). That was obviously not helpful either. By sheer luck, and repeated tries for almost 30 minutes, we found there was about 1/2 inch forward and backward play to the door and if you got it just right by pushing it maybe 3/8s of an inch in, the locking mechanism would release. That drama did not start our visit out great. Overall, the place has an excellent location and enough amenities. It could use updating overall and the knickknacks and artificial plants need to be dusted.

Wonderful communication with the owner and a fantastic location to explore Athens. Lovely balcony overlooking the Acropolis and great value.

Good view of the acropolis
Flat is quite tired, the photos make it look cleaner than it seems the bedsheets had stains and bathroom was quite cramped and dirty.
