Very pleasant stay with good food

Nice Onsen. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We liked the traditional Japanese dinner. Every dish is good like fine dining. Breakfast spread has lots of varieties. There’s local dessert like mochi and it’s so delicious. Of course there’s the mains which are all very good. There’s shuttle bus to fetch us to the nearest train station

There’s nothing which is not like-able except the private Onsen does not have hot showers which we understand it’s not working.

憧れのホテル

事前の希望連絡で対応してもらえた。高齢のため部屋に椅子の準備をしてもらえ感謝。In〜outまでスタッフの部屋への入室が無く煩わしくない。部屋が4人部屋で丁度良かった。貸切風呂が4種と大浴場·があり其々特長があり良かった。朝食バイキングは種類もあり美味しかった。全体的に快適に宿泊できました。良かったです。

貸切風呂を利用するとき、ロビー付近で事前に利用状況がわかるようにできたらよい。部屋の蛍光管が切れかかり点滅していた。4人部屋の貴重品入れ小さすぎです。大浴場の洗い場の木椅子に溝があり、座ると痛い。硫黄泉が思ったより弱く感じた。

Amazing stay relatively close to Naruko Gorge

Great view from the 7th floor on the mountain range, very varied breakfast buffet, nice semi-private eating arrangements for breakfast and dinner, staff very friendly, the private onsens were often available for use and not overflowing with waiting guests although we were there only a few days before peak fall foliage. We liked the "only refill amenities" service (instead of a full room cleaning) because it gave us privacy while still giving us refills for towels, sweets etc :)

There is little the hotel can do about this, but the walking path to Naruko Gorge is not very pretty, mostly next to the street. And I guess it is a bit pricey, but not more so than onsen hotels generally are in Japan so it does not really count

A BIT PRICY.

1. The staff member at the resto tried his very best to present the dishes at dinner, which was a nice gesture 2. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the JR station 3. Lovely onsen

1. Long uphill walk from the hotel (make sure you reserve the shuttle!!) 2. Room was a bit small considering the price 3. No power socket near the tatami bed for charging the phone

Exceptional

Private onsen with nice view and hot spring bath in our deluxe room. Yummy Buffetttt... Really LOVE this place!!!

A bit too pricey but acceptable.
