Nestled in Skaneateles, this charming condo for $283 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Carriage House is close to the village of Skaneateles and its beautiful lake. While several restaurants and Mirbeau Spa are right across the street, we're roughly a 5-10 minute walk to all other restaurants, shops, grocery store; as well as a short drive to wineries, distilleries, hiking, etc. Great for couples, groups, and families. Washer and drier in the unit. Outdoor grill and an acre of private land available. Comfortable linens and towels provided, kitchen stocked with lots of basic ingredients. The cottage-feel will settle you right into vacation mode! It is a very private, second-floor, 1,000 sq ft apartment. Master bedroom queen bed sleeps 2. Guest bedroom with two twin beds sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2. ***We also have a beautiful first floor studio add-on unit for two more guests, if upstairs guests need more space - please inquire with Kate for pricing and photos!*** One dog or cat is welcome upon approval. However, we request a $30/night pet fee to be paid upon arrival or prior. Please inquire with Kate. Children's toys, toddler high chair and plates/utensils available. I'm happy to share decades of experience in The Finger Lakes with you - there's so much to enjoy!

I would definitely stay at this property again. It was like my own quiet little sanctuary. I had everything I needed and on warmer days walked into town. The host was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with the basic cooking necessities which I fully utilized.

In town for a wedding, my family was staying across the street at the Mirbeau. It was hard for us to justify three nights and two rooms (teen boys) there. This was perfect for us. I would not hesitate to recommend it, or book it again ourselves.

We walked from the Carriage House to the center of Skaneateles with our dog. We got takeout dinner from a local restaurant and brought it back to the house to enjoy. The house had very modern appliances. Our dog enjoyed the large back yard.

We had a great stay at the Carriage house beginning with easy check in and instructions from with our host. This cozy, comfortable house sits on a beautiful private backyard with fantastic trees and views. The location is perfect for walking to town and restaurants. A nice deck area makes for a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day. We would definitely like to return.

The Carriage House sits on a beautiful property with a back balcony porch overlooking. The hosts were excellent; easy communication. When the power went out briefly due to a storm, they immediately brought over extra flashlights and even a multiple phone charger pack. A nice easy walk into town. Great stay!

Comfortable, clean, charming Carriage House. Mirabeau Spa directly across the street. Village is a short walk downhill. excellent restaurant options in village. Ability to climb stairs is a consideration as there is one flight to get into the Carriage House. Beautiful property to sit and enjoy from the back porch. Truly enjoyed our 3 night stay!

We had the nicest time on our weekend in Skaneateles. Mainly because Kate was wonderful to work with and the property was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located near shopping and restaurants. Kate gave us several great suggestions for shops in the outlying area. Kate was also in contact with us when we had several inches of snow during our stay. Thank you, Kate. We shall return 😊

We liked the way the carriage house was set back from the road a bit and had a nice view of fields to the back. The place was just the right size for the 2 of us and our 2 cats. Winter would not have been the time we would have chosen to stay here, but we needed someplace to stay while having wood floors refinished at home. It was an easy walk to the village and to restaurants and shops. Kate was very helpful and patient as we tried to plan and schedule our stay and very responsive to any requests.....a very gracious host. We appreciated being able to adjust the temperature so that we could cool things down for easier sleeping at night. The kitchen was easy to use and had all the basic cooking items we needed. All in all a pleasant stay.

The Carriage House was such a great place to stay. It was comfortable and very clean. Kate was an incredible host! She let us use her sleds for the snow when we stayed there. There is a beautiful backyard that was so picturesque with the snow falling! I bet it is absolutely beautiful there during any season. It is very close to town which was great! I would absolutely stay here again.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Carriage House in Skaneateles. The unit was spacious, clean, and just a short walk to the center of town. Kate and Sebastian were wonderful hosts and helped us with recommendations for eating, shopping, and site seeing. Otherwise, while we could easily contact them, they gave us privacy to enjoy our stay in Skaneateles.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is quiet and comfortable and backs up to a really lovely open grassy area. We traveled with our toddler and an infant and they have several items on hand to make you stay with kids so much easier. Saved us lugging things through the airport! Absolutely plan to stay again.

This property is a gem. It's beautifully designed and cared for, from a lovely deck overlooking a beautiful lawn, to a sparkly kitchen, and well appointed living room. All this is a few minutes from the town and the lake. It also happened to have most all of my favorite books just waiting for me. Beds are comfortable with lovely linens and the bathroom looks brand new.

We had a great stay at the skaneateles carriage house for 2 nights! We rented both the main carriage house and the studio apartment which gave us plenty of room. Both spaces were absolutely spotless and very tastefully decorated. The location was perfect. We walked back and forth to the village both nights for dinner. Highly recommend the skaneateles carriage house! Kate was a pleasure to work with!

Perfect place to stay for Dickens Christmas weekend in Skaneateles. Attentive, but not intrusive, hosts. Private setting and easily accessed. Easy walking distance to all activities and shops. Full kitchen, so enjoyed having breakfast and lunch at our convenience (went out for dinners). Have already recommended to others and will stay again.

We were helping to host a wedding at the Mirabeau Inn directly across the street and looking for a house for some of the wedding party. Kate was wonderful -- very helpful and responsive. There were six people in the house with room to spread out and get ready for the wedding. Its behind the owner's house, but has a big lawn/green area so feels very private when sitting out. I highly recommend this property. Would certainly rent again if we are in the area.
