Disappointed

location is good.

My recent stay at Vertex Appointments Hotel left much to be desired. The absence of a lobby and front desk created a disorganized atmosphere, compounded by the pervasive unpleasant smell in the corridors and entrance area. Furthermore, the room itself was plagued by small cockroaches and an uncomfortable bed, making for a less-than-ideal experience. To add to the disappointment, the swimming pool was inexplicably chargeable. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to improve the quality of stay for future guests.

It’s was very comfortable stay with my family for 3 nights. I will request high floor next time to get much better view.

Good location and easy access to most of the city center places.

Daily cleanup was not there. Towels are not changed during the stay for three days.

Good location but the amenities could be better.

Lighting - ceiling lights were too bright, could have more standing lamps especially in the bedrooms, not enough toilet papers, more hangers for clothes, some tips on where to find things, the TV channels were very limited - no English channel, no international channels,

Really good

The unit was really nice, clean & comfortable at very reasonable price. The host was really nice! They even had a flower on the table (so nice). The way they communicated to follow up to check on our stay was also very professional! Room had a nice window view & all basic things needed for the stay.

One room had smoke smell & my son couldn’t fall asleep. Otherwise all was good.

Value for money and best location to stay

Great location and clean rooms. All staffs are polite and helpful. I recommend this place to everybody.

There is nothing to dislike at all except there should be towel rods in bathrooms.

Really awesome location and really comfortable for a stay in the city with a family of 4

The apartment was on a high floor with a great view of the city including one of the Petronas Towers - very comfortable for our family of four. The lady with the keys was at the ground floor as our grab pulled up so was absolutely brilliant and it was the pre communication from her that allowed for this. When it's not a hotel but you get out the grab, up to the room, checked in and on your way within 5 mins. It's huge, especially with two young kids in tow!! Our unit had a washing machine and a separate dryer, which again life saver when travelling with young kids in a hot humid country. Also fans in the living room and bedrooms are great. Means we didn't need AC whilst sleeping - fans were more than enough even in the height of summer. We use the accommodation as a base to explore from and the Vortex is situated right in the KLCC which means it's super easy to get a grab, get things delivered, but also to jump on the mono rail, access awesome street food, or walk to a super high end mall. Really awesome location.

The pictures on the listing definitely didn't include the unit we stayed in. Nothing wrong with it per se, but the furniture had seen better days and our kitchen was not kitted out as per some of the images on the listing. We were in 51-02 The Vortex is a residential block and as you'd expect in most, there is a pool and gym. Now they don't expressly say this on the listing but the pool and gym in the Vortex are run by a separate company so you have to pay to use it - 20RM a day for adults and 15RM for kids even under 6. I had expected this would be included in the stay but only got the message through on WhatsApp after booking and paying that it wasn't included. Think you should just put this out there from the get go, rather than it be something that's omitted and then obviously a known issue as it's then shared in the first WhatsApp comms after booking and paying.

Exceptional room

- the spacious area in the apartment - have dryer & washing machine - coway filtered water machine - cooking utensils & fridge - electric kettle & toaster - nice view - iron board - price is sooo cheap compared to other units in Vortex - great staff - mind you, the deposit is rm200 but all in all the process to collect the deposit is super easy. - air-conditioning system works great, so cold - a set of 4 plates, cups, glasses, utensils. - Netflix on TV

- the hair dryer's socket is faulty, therefore cannot be plugged in and used - toilet will have certain smell (probably poor ventilation but yeah can be improved by maybe putting an air freshener in there as well) - the sockets at the iron board & one socket at the washing machine area is faulty. need to be plugged in properly, only then the washing machine and dryer can be used. need to fix the socket asap.. risky of short circuit or anything - have to wait for a superrrr long time for the lift - only one lift is working out of 6 lifts (after we checkout we need to wait almost 20 minutes while standing and holding our luggages and all for the elevator)

Overall our stay was OK.

The location of the property, very close to KLCC, eateries etc. View from our unit is awesome, we were on the high floor.

No microwave oven, no floor towels for the toilets (slippery when wet), no washer and dryer, just normal washing machine.

For bruneian, we are looking for place that is spacious,clean and comfortable for family/friends

The place is only 15min walk to bukit bintang, the place is spacious and we slept well during our stay.. the room also clean and well maintain. There is also beam that you can use which only take us to BB 5 mins /10 mins playing arund with the scooter...bawah nya ada 7eleven and then ada capsule with coffee shop.. the sofa also comfy to sleep in and the put extra single foldable bed arah almari..sesuai untuk 5/6 pax if you re lookong yanh dekat BB. Which ada station that can go anywhere at BB.. if balik pakai grab sja ke KLIA dalam 180rm if KL sentral lagi murah also
