Located in Door County, this attractive condo for $225 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Hello!! Welcome to SUNRISE SHORES CONDO 3. We are directly on sand beach and have amazing views of Lake Michigan. We offer: **Free Internet, Free unlimited in and out of State Long Distance Calling - this is very important since many visitors to the county find that they have poor cell phone reception. This beautiful condominium is an upper unit and located on sand beachfront on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula. The kitchen, dining area, living room and balcony all give way to spectacular sunrise views over the lake. The colors of the water and skyline are ever-changing throughout the day. The town of Jacksonport is a quiet, tranquil town nestled between Lake Michigan and hardwood and pine forests. The constant lull of the waves provides a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. This is a unique area of Door County since the sand beach continues for miles to the north and south. There are kayak, canoe, bike and other rentals, several small restaurants, a grocery store in town/within walking distance for some. While other towns of Door County are bustling with commercialization, they may not have sand beach or water access for safe swimming and walks. Jacksonport has one of the best sand beaches in Door County - it is a small quaint village perfect for families with small children who appreciate quiet calmness and a restful atmosphere. Build sand castles, relax and walk the beach with the kids. You can walk the beach to any point in the village which include the grocery store, the park, church, the town bakery/cafe or to other places to eat. Jacksonport is centrally located between the more commercial areas of Door County - with Sturgeon Bay about 15 minutes to the south and Bailey's Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay about 10 - 25 minutes to the north. Jacksonport is just a few miles north of Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park where you can find caves, cliffs, sand dunes, miles of trails and nature walks, lookout points and friendly wildlife. The unit is 1,220 square feet and has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed in each) + a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, over-sized whirlpool tub in the master bedroom in addition to an attached full master bath. There is a high chair, pack 'n play, child table and chairs, and children's cups, spoons and dishes. ***Adjoined to condo 3 is a symmetrical condo (condo 4 VRBO#171303). If Condo 3 is not vacant for the dates you desire, check the listing for Condo 4 on VRBO or call or email for availability of condo 4. Beautiful location on the lake! Beach was clean and easy short distance access. The balcony made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and the moonrise as well as the sound of waves coming up on the beach. We enjoyed the jetted tub (a couple of the jets aren't working). This felt great on an injured knee (prior injury/ACL tear). We will look forward to another relaxing and entertaining vacation at your accommodations. We have also passed information on to family members.

We came to Door County for a relaxing getaway with my parents and this was the perfect place for the four of us. On the quiet side of the peninsula, we loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning and breakfast in the dining area while listening to the waves. We enjoyed coming back to the condo after sightseeing to relax in the evenings. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Mark was wonderful to work with. We would definitely look to stay here again when we return!

Pros
- Property was very clean and inviting. I brought extra items, but to my surprise, it was very well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. They also had plenty of hangers in the closets and clothes hampers too!
- Beautiful views of the beach! No matter what time of day or what the weather was like, the views were stunning.
- Beach was phenomenal - we have a 7 and 8 year old and they could have spent our entire vacation playing on the beach.
- We took long walks almost every evening along the shoreline and soaked in the beautiful skyline and crashing waves.
- Great communication and clear expectations from the owners.
- Lots of extra storage in the en suite bathroom!
Cons
- This was the only reason I gave four stars instead of five stars - some of the windows were broken and didn't open or wouldn't shut. Most of the windows only opened a few inches. The biggest let down was that there was no screen door to the deck. This place would have been perfect if we could have had a screen and let the breeze blow through the condo and listen to the sounds of the lake. I hope the owners will consider adding one - it would really elevate the experience.

I can’t say enough about this property. From the location…. Ot was 25 -30 minutes from anything we wanted to do. To the details the owner put into the property for the guests. We absolutely loved this stay. And we hope to make this place a family tradition.

This is our second time staying at this property and it was just as wonderful as it was 7 years ago. Everything you could possibly need is there and the condo is so clean! Had a bit of a time with the TV but my husband and I aren’t exactly “techy” :) The lake flies were bad in the evening so we didn’t use the deck much at night, but that’s not a negative to the condo. Still an amazing place and we will be back again! Mark is a wonderful host and very responsive.

This is our third time renting this condo from Mark since 2019. We prefer to stay on the "quiet side" of the peninsula and have sufficiently enjoyed staying here that it has become our go-to Door County rental condo. Mark is exceptionally easy to work with, as he responds quickly to any questions or concerns and maintains high property standards, including cleanliness and various updates around the condo. Of course, the beautiful lakefront location of the condo adds to the experience. While some VRBO reviewers seem to give five-star reviews as a matter of course, this property and owner legitimately deserve a five-star rating.

A very nice place, the Jacuzzi after a January hike was most welcome. Nice views of Lake Michigan from both rooms. Plenty of beach to walk. January temperatures and 30mph winds off the lake limited our porch time but we still had two fine sunrises and a starry night sky to watch.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s right on the water with a beautiful beach with beautiful views. Owners are very friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. Can’t wait to go back.

First, I want to point out something that isn't apparent in the property description: This is a second floor unit, so guests have to be able to go up a flight of stairs to access it, and the sliding door to the beach in the picture is only for the first floor unit. Aside from that, the condo is as pictured/described.
Jacksonport has a wonderful beach shoreline, so we enjoyed morning walks along the lake when it wasn't raining. We chose the location so we could easily get to Sturgeon Bay and Fish Creek during our stay, and the price was less than staying in Egg Harbor, so we were pleased with our choice.
The unit is clean and fairly spacious with plenty of dishes/glasses. We didn't cook, but we snacked and had what we needed. I found the bedding and towels to be the bare minimum: the towels were thinner than any towel I have ever encountered before, and there were only two (very firm) pillows per bed. Luckily, I brought my own pillow, so I was the only one in our party who was comfortable at night.
The owner has notes and signs all over with instructions and rules, which was a little off-putting, as was the fact that we had to strip the beds, gather all the towels, start the laundry, do the dishes, and take out the trash before we left.

I was getting away but myself and this was perfect--lovely, comfortable place with a good size table for scrapbooking; beautiful sunrises; restful walks on the beach. Also loved going to Hands On Art. Would definitely come back-on my own or with friends.

This is no more than a hundred yards to the beach, with a wonderful view from the condo. Also, it is a quiet location, albeit we went in early October, but if you don't want to be dealing with lots of other people, definitely a place to consider. My only complaint was the master queen bed was too soft. Had to sleep in guest bed. Would recommend master bed mattress be replaced.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we really look forward to it. The location is amazing--love being able to come back after a day out and doing beach walks, sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. After our first stay we now plan on bringing all extra paper goods we'll need and that's not a big deal. Plus we grab a big jug of drinking water for the fridge. A couple suggestions I'd make are a few more cooking utensils and some luggage racks for the bedroom would be great. Communicating with Mark is always easy and he's really responsive. We love the location and the sounds of the water. It is far from the tourist side of the peninsula, but close enough you can get there when you want that sort of activity. Great host and the space is really nice. This is our 4th time using this space (or the one next to it). Great space!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is right on Lake Michigan and in a good location on the peninsula. The condo is very up to date and clean. And pictures and description are very accurate. We would definitely stay here again especially in the warmer months so we can take advantage of the lake. Highly recommended.

This place was really great - it's super clean, everything is in good condition plus it's right on the beach with an amazing view. My husband, toddler and I stayed for 4 nights but I do think this place could easily fit 6 people as it is listed for. My son also loved the fact that they have beach toys available - nice addition! A few opportunities: It would be really helpful if they had shampoo and soap available for showers since there aren't many stores nearby; and the check-out process is a little labor-intensive (loading and starting the dishwasher, getting a load of towels & sheets started in the wash machine, and taking out all the garbages) - not the end of the world but with an early checkout (10am) and a late check-in (4pm) you'd think these things could be completed as part of the cleaning fee.

Perfect beach condo in Door County!
Our family of 5 spent the week here. It was our first time in Door County, and we felt like we hit the jackpot! The views from the condo are even more beautiful than the pictures show. You’re right on the lake, and can hear the waves and watch the sky changes colors throughout the day. It is so relaxing, and so convenient to have the beach right there. We enjoyed exploring the county, but were always excited to come “home”. The condo was so clean and had everything we needed-kids to adults. We loved our stay and already miss it!
