Situated in Hanmer Springs, this attractive house for $94 per night is a great option for your next trip. * A family friendly home away from home, surrounded by stunning alpine views * Direct access to the forest park with many walking and mountain biking tracks to explore * Short walk to all the action of the Hanmer Springs village (hot pools, shops, restaurants etc) Welcome to our little piece of paradise, close enough to the Hanmer Springs village (2 minutes drive or 10-15 minute walk) to enjoy all that this alpine village has to offer, yet with a tranquil outlook over the mountains and forest that will take your breath away. Nestled onto the hillside of Acheron Heights, our home is beautifully secluded with uninterrupted views over the forest, Conical Hill and up to Mount Isobel. Relax with a BBQ on the north facing deck, take in the views of the surrounding mountainside and listen to the birdsong. For those with a bit more energy, our property has access directly into the forest park full of walking and mountain biking tracks. There is a spacious living and dining area, and all the mod-cons (Wifi, Chromecast etc) to make your stay more comfortable. Sleeping arrangements include a queen size bedroom, a room with a double bed and a small third bedroom with a set of bunks. There is a sofa bed in the lounge should you need it. The stunning location, gorgeous log fire, well appointed kitchen and plenty of books and games will ensure you have a holiday to remember. We love our family holidays in this magic location and are excited to be able to share it with you. NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets etc) and clean the property for the next visitors (cleaning available for an extra $100 per stay ).

This property was very warm and despite being rainy for the first day we had plenty of entertainment options and a gorgeous day the second day checking out the forest trails. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, 10 min walk into town centre but located close to all the main walking tracks for those keen on biking or hiking into the hills. Well appointed - Netflix is a great bonus!

Great location and cosy. Loved the fire and outside deck. Kids loved the swing in the garden. Only one negative thing was the bed covers had stains on them. Would stay here again.

An ideal place for a weekend in the alpine area with a real 'kiwi bach' vibe. A magnificent log burner that heats the whole house. Comfy beds and great facilities. Only question mark is that it can be a tad tricky to locate the driveway, especially after dark.

Absolutely loved staying in this warm welcoming home. Looking out onto the Forrest in the morning very peaceful. Has everything you need. Only wish we had brought our mountain bikes as well.

First thing is the setting. Stunning Views and tranquility from the deck. Loads of room and the amenities were wonderful. Couldnt fault the accomodation. The only thing I would say is that some of the dishes and cutlery, including the drier, could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived, but it wasnt too much of an issue. Would also recommend that you have a car if staying at the property .... the walk down to Hamner is lovely, the walk back up is also nice but there is a steep hill to go up at the very end :) Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Fiona was also really helpful when we contacted her on the first day. Would thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful holiday home, it had everything we needed to have a lovely relaxing time. Our kids throughly enjoyed the swing and the cool bunk room. Lovely quiet house backing onto bush with great views over Mt Isobel (which is definitely worth doing - about 4hr return). 10 mins stroll into the village, hot pools etc. House has everything you need for a good family vacation. Our first visit to Hanmer but we do intend coming back! Highly recommended.
