Lovely hideaway as advertised. Tucked away in trees, with the sound of birds singing. Nice large windows to enjoy the scenery. Very good logfire which kept us toasty. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was warm. Very relaxing place to stay. Host gave clear instructions regarding amenities, which was really helpful. Handy to central Hanmer Springs. Overall would recommend.

Nice comfy place to stay. Fire and view was nice. Suits a small family or couple wanting a get away
Having to purchase tea towels, hand towels and bath matt. Found it difficult to find necessary items in the house and procedures. Having to give the house a full clean before we left. The house needs an additional bucket to remove ash safely from fire
