Location was great! Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean as well.

It’s very central, it was well laid out and the bathrooms were quite nice, definitely worked for a larger group, bedrooms were comfortable, privacy curtains on lower bunks and the lockers were very spacious. They cleaned it regularly and there were lots of crockery and pots/pans etc.
We had lots of noise from the trams so if you’re a light sleeper it’s quite difficult to sleep. The curtains weren’t great for blocking out light and there were some appliances not working (hob, dishwasher, oven and the fridge did not close properly). Some AC could be needed or fans in extreme heat.

The location was great, and the facilities were as expected given that it is a backpackers hostel. Overall, the staff were friendly, check-in went fine, and early check-out and return of deposit was very helpful as we were leaving at 4am. It was very clean.
Most hostels I've been to have rooms off a corridor; this hostel is set out as small flats - a few bedrooms with a shared toilet/shower room/kitchen. As a result, our "flatmates" used the shared space from 3am - 7am, with no regard for the other two bedrooms, smoked in the kitchen, and tried to force their way into our room multiple times. When we reported it, we were told they were leaving that day, so the problem resolved itself. I was very frustrated that as the only woman, there was no lock on the shower door. When I reported it, it was not fixed - I was told the key had been taken and a new one needed to be made. No short term fix (a cheap latch, for example) was made, so I was basically just lucky that the creepy men who tried to come into our room while we tried to sleep, didn't come into the shower when I was in it. Given the lack of care for preventing this by the staff, I wouldn't return.
