We loved the view from our window room overlooking the Remarkables. The ambiance and host are nice.

The stairs to go up and down The Embassy. If they can have a better access to the place, it'd have been better. It's a struggle to bring big luggage up and down as well. the little stairs on the side are uneven and a potential hazzard to the guest. The breakfast was very basic.

Well-curated accommodation with breath-taking views!

Lovely owners who are personable and welcoming. My room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I loved the lounge areas and the jacuzzi! The view of the lake was also spectacular!

Loved it so much we would stay at Embassy B&B again the next time we return to Queenstown. Highly recommend.

Janet is an amazing host. She made us feel welcomed right from the beginning and we believe our trip was extra special thanks to her hospitality. We greatly appreciated Janet for going out of her way to cook us a tasty hot breakfast every morning, and for offering tips on what we can do/ see/ eat depending on where we plan on going to help us make the most of our time. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. House keeping comes in every morning and does a wonderful job. The view of the lake and mountain from our bedroom was also stunning.

Street parking is limited and you can’t do a U-turn on this road so you’ll have to reverse for a short distance to reach someone’s driveway at a bend before you can drive forward. We found this tricky on the first 2 days, then we got used to it and it was no biggie.

Nice private B&B 5 kms from Queenstown

A nice room with a fabulous view and comfortable bed. A very good breakfast with Muesli and omelette. The host Janet is professional and discreet.

Driving by car up to the property is not too difficult. There you can not turn but have to drive steep backwards for at least 200 meters.

Lovely big and clean room. House keeping service every day which was great. Amazing views. Good breakfast and the balcony was very nice to sit out on in the evenings.

The only thing we would have like was a kettle or mini fridge in our room.

It was a lovely way to end each day in Queenstown.

Having many dietary restrictions, I was blown away when I was catered for so well. Thank you

The only thing I found not to my liking was the housekeeping timing. We went for breakfast at 8am and were downstairs until 8.50. The cleaning began at 8.40 and we then could not access our room for 30 mins, usually this wouldn't have mattered but in this instance we were heading into town before a tour. We had been informed cleaning would be in the morning and I naturally assumed it would be once we were gone.

Jenna is an amazing host! The views are spectacular and the accommodations are very comfortable.

Individual BNB with loads of great decor views up high and Queenstown does the rest of the "talking"

All of the BNB including view home cooked breakfast and gorgeous room and ensuite!! We would highly recommend this instead of typical Motel stay! The decor needs to be seen to believe and hosts are welcoming but not in your face!

Very clean and comfortable room. They make up the bed everyday even though we do not need it. Our is with King size bed with 2 separate mattress heater on each side of the bed. Superb view of the lake from our window. Sufficient variety for breakfast. There are cereal, fruits, cake, toasted bread with a few choice of spread. Janet is very warmth, helpful and remembered my cappuccino. She prepared breakfast for us everyday!

The King size bedframe has square corners which I hit a few time going in/out the window side to open/close the window.

Nice view B & B. Excellent breakfast served by hostess. Not conveneint for elderly people.

Fantastic view of the outside. Excellent breakfast. Bed is hard enough and clean. Clean room and clean bathroom. Nicely decorated and warm shared lounge with free beverages and apples. Can use fridge and kitchen utensils in the shared lounge. Kitty in the accomodation for cat lovers.

Difficult accessibity in getting to the property. Its going up two flights of stairs (entering the accomodation then up to your room). Not suitable for elderly people. Blanket/comforter is just too heavy. No TV . Need to use an apps.

Amazing hosts and great value in Queenstown

We loved our stay at the Embassy. Our hosts were very generous and welcoming. The room was spacious and well equipped and the views over the lake were fantastic. The steps up to the front door are a bit challenging and not for everyone, but the views and the warm welcome are worth the effort.

The level of service and care from Janet is exceptional. The location is great, situated above the lake at the Frankton end. It has eye-popping views of the lake and the mountains opposite. Queenstown to Frankton buses travel regularly on the main road below making it extremely easy to travel without a car. More fun, and just as convenient, the water taxi also runs a regular schedule and it picks up from the jetty beneath the Embassy.

Pleasant ,warm welcome upon arrival Great hospitality Our king size room was very cosy ,comfortable and clean. Also the view here is incredible 😍 My partner and I really enjoyed breakfast ( bacon,eggs,pancakes, Musli cups), unfortunately only for one morning as we had alot planned for our stay in Queenstown. Overall Very satisfied. 🙂

small issue: Didn’t realise how steep the driveway and stairs were so it’s a bit of a mission to get up.

Janet was super lovely and incredibly helpful. She cooked us an epic breakfast and had a great spread of toast, cereals, coffee, tea and candy jars at our disposal. The views were fantastic! Definitely recommend for people who want to be a little out of the hustle and bustle of the Queenstown CBD while still being a quick 5-10min drive away.

Superb

Everything (other than no parking etc), food was lovely, room was very comfortable & spacious, views were amazing.

Only reason for a 9 & not a 10 was not being able to park up outside to take luggage/bags inside. Very steep stairs but this was reiterated in the write up. Host was amazing & extremely accommodating. Had a great stay & would go back if opportunity arises.

Breakfast was delicious, house was cozy and warm, bed was comfortable and host very comforting. Over all no complaints will definitely return. 10 out of 10 all around 💯👌
