The property was spotless and was full of character. We had l a lovely stay. Adriel and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful and advised us how to navigate certain things. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, high ceilings with ample storage. The bed was massive and so comfortable. Had the best night's sleep in a very long time. I particularly loved the balcony, which was also spacious and overlooked a stunning garden. The food provided was very much appreciated, especially as we arrived in the early hours.
Nairobi is cold in late June /July, so having a hot shower in the morning or before bed is a must. The shower in our ensuite room wasn't much more than a trickle and the water was like warm. I had 1 shower over a 3 night stay, because it was too cold. Such a shame, otherwise I would've given full marks.

Spacious entryway leading to the house. Very secure in excellent neighbourhood. Artcaffee and Restos close by.
Breakfast was good, the host provided the ingredients.
Historical charme of Kilorun house is unbeatable. That is what attracted me.
Adriel was a great host, came to greet me and told me about the house.
I had everything I desired, so can not think of things I did not like.

The couple who owns the property were lovely but unfortunately they had to leave when we arrived.
It is a nice old building in a good and quiet location with a cafe / restaurant around the corner.
Our mosquito net was dusty and full of dead flies.
The bathroom is old and the sink was difficult to access as the shower cubicle was in the way. It could do with an update.
