Grote kamer en badkamer.
Aan autovrij stukje gracht.
Dat maakte het rustig voor Amsterdam..
Alles was er.Een belevenis om een keer
in een souterraine te verblijven.
Het was voor ons prima,maar is vrij basic.Als je iets chiques wil moet je hier niet zijn.,maar leuk stukje Amsterdam en dichtbij station.

Location is great. Close to the main train station. The canal is right in front of the place.
It's a basement room. There is no cooktop, no sink & no microwave.

The location was close to sites we wanted to visit. Check-in was seamless.The host was very nice having come down to the apt in response to my call for assistance. She was worried to tell us the tv was not working and couldn’t be repaired during our trip, but that wasn’t our concern.
No air flow at all. I asked for another fan as the one in the apt was small, filthy with dust and debris and the on/off knob was broken. No fan was offered.There are two windows at street level and I asked if it was safe to keep them open while we were inside? The host said, “Probably.” Since we don’t live in the area “probably” was not reassuring It was muggy and hot. There was no kitchen sink and the coffee maker and tea were filled with water.i don’t want to drink from any prefilled appliance as i don’t know how long the water was in the machine. A bottle of water in the refrigerator would have been appreciated to make coffee upon arrival. There is no place to put your suitcase. Did they expect you to open them on a couch? The kitchen table? I am too old to want to have an open suitcase on the floor, but that’s what we had to do. Can you at least get a luggage valet? No place to hang a coat, bath towel, etc. No napkins - if I made coffee/tea was I supposed to clean any drips with my bath towel? No wash cloth, hand towel or dish towel. The only thing in abundance were signs warning us to not smoke pot, not take too long of a shower, and to “think of the environment and the host’s wallet” (six in the bathroom alone). I wish the host would have thought about the reality when describing their apt because I felt like I was in a youth hostile instead of a romantic suite.
