Location was great as our son's wedding was held just down the road at Longfield Hall. It was nice to have an outdoor space with the garden and the beds were comfy. Also as most of the time it was just two of us, the flat felt spacious.
Various things didn't work or were broken so generally the place didn't fit the blurb "recently renovated". E.g. No way of doing any washing up - no plug or washing up bowl (or dishwasher), the lid on the rubbish bin had broken, the front garden was very unkept, I wouldn't touch the downstairs "bedroom" with a bargepole, no rubber slip mat in the bath (so using the shower in that bath made it dangerous) etc. etc.. Overall, while the flat was perfectly clean, it felt rather run down.
