We appreciated having kitchen essentials like spices and oil for cooking, allowing for huge savings over eating out. Location was ideal for us because it was out of the busyness of city but close enough to everything. Dead silent at night, slept so good. Host Katrin was responsive and accommodating to our needs. I hate to make it so positive because it might be booked when we want to come back, but this is for us the best possible place to stay near Reykjavík.
We bought a rectangle Costco pizza expecting a standard oven but didn’t find one, but the entire pizza could be cut in half and still fit just right into the large countertop convection oven. No problem after all!

Fantastische locatie, mooie en praktische inrichting, goed uitgeruste keuken en heerlijke hottub! Leuk wandelingetje naar het meertje.
2 persoonsbed heeft helaas een kuil in het midden waardoor je naar elkaar toe rolt. Verbetering zou de accomodatie perfect maken 😉

Please let people know that there is a steep stairway to the house from the road. Fifty-three steps up is not appropriate for senior citizens with heavy suitcases.
