Great room and cleaned. Before travel we read comments saying rooms were dirty, but our was ok. Host was correct (he didnt do nothing crazy as other comments said), no suuuper friendly but correct, so ok for us.
Place location is close to red night zone, we didnt go out during night so that didnt affect us, but if you are not confortable with this kind of neighbourhood take this in consideration. Shower was great... when it worked! it has a system with timer, so to me it was almost imposible to get hot water, just a litlle one time and then cold. My couple had not problem, so probably it was me who didnt know how to use it.

The location is at a good place like close to the centre and good price. Clean and artistic, lovely, rooms. Hot water, easy to heat up the room. Vert helpful Leonard, the friendly host

Location at Ghent is perfect. Leonard is a approachable host. Host had provided fans. Host has prepared the rooms based on themes which gives a good vibe. Kitchenette has a coffee machine and water kettle alongwith glasses.
Some rooms are poorly maintained and hot during summer. If you are in luck you get a good room. Opening windows was almost impossible due to mosquitoes and insects. Surrounding areas of the building wasn't maintained. Shared kitchen (with 8 odd rooms) is a mess, its dirty to say the least. You use it because you use it. Property is overpriced for the value. Car parking costs of 17 euros per night feels costly add-on. Stairs to the 3rd floor are very steep. Not for older people. Not family vacation type of property. Don't want to be rude to the host but when none of 5 people liked the stay, then it says something wasn't right. Became a low light of the trip.
