Everything about self check-in and -out worked really well thanks to the detailed descriptions. The host was very attentive and easy to reach via phone for any questions we had. I especially liked the option for free bike borrowing. Sadly we didn't plan our itinerary well enough to take advantage of that. We liked the option of the common room for preparing light meals - just be aware: this means mostly cold or simple, microwaveable foods. There are no stove/pots/pans.
When you take the basic accommodation there is a possibility that you get the room directly at street level. This was mostly fine for us but it can be a little uncomfortable having people directly outside your window or hearing everyone who enters the house. If this bothers you a lot maybe better to take one of the other room options which would all be upstairs if you want to be sure to avoid that.

The property was well located and clean. It had tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a well stocked kitchen area.
Rooms very hot. Only one fan. Unable to keep windows open as we got badly bitten by mosquitoes.
