Very comfy bed, nice balcony views and excellent breakfast

Location is excellent, in the middle of the city centre. Although the train station is a good walk (especially if it is raining) the tram stops are a minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful ie continental, with eggs and bacon, nice pastries and bread rolls were splendid. My room was large with an abundance of coffee and tea. Nice street view from my hotel room. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately there was no lift in the hotel. This meant you had to walk up a very narrow spiral staircase, the steps were also very narrow. To get to my room number 2 I had 3 lots of stairs to navigate, bringing the luggage down was quite an exercise. I am 6ft 4in tall and size 11 feet, people of a smaller size may not find the stairs much of an issue.
One other point of issue there was no air conditioning in the hotel. This was fine during my stay as the weather was not hot, however if you stay during a heatwave which appear to more of the norm in summer now, you may find your stay uncomfortable.

Lovely cafe and rooms, felt comfortable safe and everything was provided. We really appreciated how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were and how easy everything felt from check in to check out!
Faja Lobi is in a fantastic location, only 5 mins walking from St Bavo’s and the Town Hall which is a quiet and comfortable place to sit in the evening. :)
The pillows are a bit tired, some fresher ones would have made a huge difference to the comfort at night. But even despite this it was a fantastic stay, thank you!

Easy to locate and staff helpful.
Advertised with parking. But when hot to the property they said parking is end of the road in a public parking lot.is not far but we just refused. On top of that there is no air con. - given the heat wave we didn't take it and they were understanding and in a breath they wave the charge.
