Linda (the host) is very friendly. The location of the B&B is very good.
Everything in my stay was good. However, it should be noted that there is no elevator, and hence it may not be convenient for the elderly.

Linda is an amazing host. She greeted me for check in and made sure everything was fine while I was staying in her house. The room is cute and spacious, the bed very comfy and everything is sparkling clean. There is a kettle in the room and a good assortment of teas and instant coffees/creamers/sugar. Breakfast is abundant ( eggs, coffee, bread, pastries, fruits) and overall the Sparrow’s Nest offers an excellent value in Ghent.
There is no fan in the room and it could be a potential problem if you are staying during a heat wave. Luckily I could open the windows and it wasn’t too hot.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful to navigate the city. She had an excellent breakfast!
Fresher pillows needed. Be sure you can climb stairs!
