The cleanliness, the view to the mountains, the amazing breakfast, the silence and privacy, and, above all, the host Daniela, always helpful and careful.
The room is exactly how advertised, perfect for a weekend of exploration in Serra da Estrela. The house is quite well located if you value the view and the silence of the place.
Only slight downside is the double bed being two singles. But it didn’t have an impact on my sleep.

We loved the feeling of being guests in Daniela and Paulo's home. We loved our conversations each morning about climbing, Serra Estrela history and suggestions for our daily activities. Breakfast was prepared beautifully each day, including homemade products.
Not about the guesthouse, but there is no public transportation in this very hilly village. We solved the problem by engaging a great local taxi service when we needed one. (Carla Maria Fonseca ❤️ (Táxis)
