Great location for a 2 night stay to explore nearby places of interest or to relax without wifi.

Beautiful surrounds. Good location. It was nice to be able to walk to local patisserie .

Just not made aware beforehand that there was no tv or reliable wifi. Cooking facilities other than a microwave would have been good.

Pretty place if you don’t mind being offline with no cell service.

Host was wonderful about communication. Pet friendly (at an additional cost of $40 per night), the gardens were well kept, location was peaceful and very quiet. The River cottage architecture was gorgeous inside. High ceilings and plaster work was stunning. Loved the fresh, line dried sheets. Bed was very comfortable.

No Wi-Fi. This would not have been an issue but there is no cell service either (at least not Optus or Amaysim). Cottage had a musty moldy smell (I realize we’ve had A LOT of rain this summer, but a humidifier would be really beneficial) I didn’t like the mold in bathroom. Shower is not sealed so water leaks out terribly. This is not just a little water leaking out the shower door. I did not care for the scratchy, line dried towels. No screens on French door entry. We were not given the cottage (velvet pear) that we reserved and paid for. We were placed in a smaller cottage that was too far to receive wifi. The host suggested we walk out to where we parked our car if we wanted Wi-Fi. When we asked our host about not being placed in the cottage we reserved she said “Oh yeah, well the cottages are both pretty much the same” This is not true. According to booking.com, the cottage we reserved had a separate kitchen and a much larger bathroom. Instead we were placed in a studio cottage with a small bathroom. Booking.com shows that the River cottage is $20 per night less. Im still waiting for our $40 refund as I did point this out to the host.

Has everything you need for a nice and peaceful stay.

Location was secluded and quiet. Surrounding gardens and creek area were lovely and calming, making for a restful break from reality. Cottage tastefully decorated

Having to clean out the shower grate (water went everywhere on first shower)

Lovely garden but accommodation only suitable for 1-2 night stay

No way of drying towels. No fan or direct heating in the bathroom. Only one set of towels for a four night stay. Had a microwave but no microwave dishes if you wanted to use it.

Lovely location. Delightful peaceful property. Lovely to wander through the garden. Tilba was an unexpected gem.

Quiet, comfortable, pretty, close to points of interest and soooo relaxing!

The location is dreamy and within cooee of all the beautiful beaches, countryside and intriguing towns and hamlets. The weather was perfect, the breakfasts exceptional and the cottage theme delightful. The hosts were wonderful, making us feel welcome and like friends. We were invited to ask for things we needed and were welcome to wander the gardens uninhibited.

The internet was only available on my laptop, there was no television or phone reception, but this only added to the delightful serenity and a drive up to Tilba solved the phone problem.
