The location was perfect. The inside lovely and modern and very clean. Kitchen was equipped well. Loved that it had a laundry.

We travel a lot - 6 months of the year. Lately we have been starting to rethink renting an apartment instead of a hotel. We are so tired of every amateur renting out their home for a side hustle and to heck with the guests.
BUT our stay at Hisr Rjmer has restored our faith in Booking.com apartments. Let's go through this:
First impression - excellent design, decor and use of space. Some homely touches, but not so much that they encroach on your ability to make this place feel like your home.
Location is excellent
Very very quiet, which is hugely important to me.
Very comfortable sofa. Extremely clean - take your shoes off at the door, the floors are spotless.
The kitchen has everything you need and no chipped plates and dodgy frying pans in sight.
Himself appreciated the coffee machine.
I appreciated that olive oil, salt and pepper were there as buying a bottle of olive oil to make one meal is an expensive pain.
Loved the body wash, shampoo and conditioner so much so that I ordered some on Amazon UK to be delivered to London for when we return - completely natural, no chemical and something to do with goats - sorry no Slovenian!
There is parking at the door that is just for you.
They have thought of everything - after I washed my face one evening, I looked around, and right there by the tap, was a little hook to hang my face sponge - wow - this is the only place I have seen this.
Loads of guide books and the tourist office is right next door should you need it.
There is a lot to see in the area and however long you think you should stay here, add a few days more.
Communication was excellent and Kaja, the owner genuinely cared that you were happy here.

Staying 3 nights was a mistake. We'd had a bad run of apartment rentals and this little piece of paradise soothed out traveling souls. We should have stayed longer.
The upstairs air conditioner is in the corridor between the bedrooms, not in the actual bedrooms themselves. This didn't seem to be a problem - maybe because the house is over 100 years old, it is naturally insulated? The property is doubled glazed throughout.
If I were to change one thing, I would upgrade the duvets to the newer ones that are more breathable and mimic feather/ down rather than the older polyester ones. ...but then, I am a bit of a princess. I would also offer a plain cotton top sheet - very Scandinavian but super comfortable on hot nights.
I regret that I only discovered the outdoor swing chair on the upstairs balcony the day we left.
Every time we looked for something it was there.

L’hébergement est absolument magnifique, décoré avec énormément de goût et une vraie recherche d’élégance dans chaque détail. Tout est parfaitement pensé, harmonieux et très agréable à vivre.
La propreté est irréprochable, le niveau de confort excellent et la localisation idéale pour profiter pleinement du séjour.
L’accompagnement des hôtes est également remarquable.
On sent immédiatement que beaucoup de soin a été apporté à ce lieu. C’est une adresse rare, qui se distingue vraiment par la qualité de ses prestations.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrions sans la moindre hésitation. À recommander les yeux fermés !
