Noeleen was a great host, very good with communication, popping down to introduce herself and delivered freshly cooked muffins to us in the morning. Setting itself was lovely, with a short walk down to the river, which was lovely. The river was low, but when it is flowing you can take a canoe out. Really enjoyed having a wood fire. Perfect space for a weekend getaway and great location to wineries, Ballandean and Stanthorpe. Not very far to Tenterfield either.

We didn't realise there wasn't a TV, but internet service was no problem, so we just used our phones. Would've been good to have had one though. Blinds in main bedroom were broken but weren't sure if host was aware, as said she would get them fixed when we mentioned it. There weren't any blinds in the bathrooms and the windows weren't tinted so could see directly in from outside, also you could see someone in the main bathroom from the ensuite window. There was no oven but we adapted and cooked pizzas on the weber outside. Entrance to property was via a dirt road, so not sure how you would go in a normal vehicle but we had 4wd.

We booked a modern cabin at this location but on arrival discovered the accommodation was a renovated farm house. (Photos did not match the property) The farm house was fine with everything we needed but it was not what we had booked. We were told the cabin had a leaking roof! ***If booking this property please make sure you confirm which property you are booking before arrival.
