The host was very (!!!) friendly, even made sure we had bicycles to explore the island. The location is behind the small airport so it’s very quiet (air traffic wasn’t noticeable) and tourists are “far away” (nothing is really far away on the island ;) ).
Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed in the surrounding water area which caused not only the air to be very smelly (kind of like rotten eggs) but also our bathroom drainage. Taking a shower or washing your hands was a real challenge as it was really stinky. This might be only a seasonal problem due to wind and temperature change.

We loved our stay here. The location is quiet being a distance into town by bicycle. Lovely welcoming host with good local knowledge

The owner was awesome, very sweet and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable. He helped us any time we needed something like getting a replacement for our golf cart rental.
A LOOOT of mosquitos. No AC so very tough. The smell of sargassum was potent and could feel smell through the bathroom water.
