For peace and quite

The location is good and away from the city centre. Surrounded by other villas and an open field. No cars allowed on this road and it is accesible only by bikes. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and even prepared a floating breakfast for us.

The filter of the pool stopped working on the 2nd day which left the pool a bit dirty so we didn’t feel like getting in. There are insect’s everywhere after sunset - but this is natural so shouldn’t be counted as a drawback.

Idyllic villa, great to chill and relax!

The villa is beautiful, very peaceful if you would like to chill away from the hustle and bustle of ubud. We would recommend renting out a bike to get back and fourth from the centre. The staff were super helpful and supported us with arranging transport and other trips. We would recommend the floating breakfast at the villa it was really nice, lots of fresh fruit and eggs. If you do not rent a bike it is a little bit far to walk with a suitcase and rucksack but when checking out we were given a lift on the moped by the staff.

There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room, we figured it could have been someone who had stayed before and it was in the AC vent. The bathroom is a little bit basic with no frills, but it does the job.

The pool area is lovely, staff organized a floating breakfast. Remote area very quiet, a few restaurants walking distance.

Doors were a bit hard to lock and unlock, cannot get there by car, car park area is a 10 min walk away but staff picked us and our luggage up on mopeds.

I like the fact that breakfast is cooked fresh by the 2 caretakers who took the time to familiarise us with the property. The swimming pool waters were clean. There is auto night light, there is Netflix on top of IndiHome, there is the provision of some coffee powder and tea bags and sugar for our consumption when we feel like it. There was a day bed in each of the 2 bedrooms such that it could accommodate the 6 of us. The breakfast provided was lovely; you have a choice of pancake, fried noodles or toast and every breakfast set comes with fruits. it was also nice for the owner to allow for me to pay via Wise transfer rather than cash. She wanted to charge us 2% for using credit card payment but this, If I am not wrong, is illegal and wrong to pass on the credit card charges to the consumer. If she does not allow for credit card, then she should just state so, or state that the 2% charge will be passed on to the consumer on booking dot com.

if you did not or do not rent a scooter, you have to walk 600m to the house from the main road. The owner and the platform (booking dot com) accepted my booking for six people but the owner insisted that the property only caters for five breakfast sets and five towels, even despite my insistence, the owner did not budge! how expensive in local terms is it to provide for one more set of towel and one extra set of breakfast? Why allow a group size of 6 to book if the maximum provision is for 5?

Spacious, well designed, quiet, peaceful hideaway 30 minutes walk from central Ubud

Beautiful, tranquil hide away in spacious villa, fabulous design, with private, clean swimming pool, staff comes in to cook your breakfast.

The odd big cockroach and it’s a long walk in (not accessible by car) but of course that makes it so quiet and peaceful.

Please choose this place if you have your own scooty as the cars cannot reach there.

The place was very beautiful, but the location was very inside and cannot be reached without scooty. At nights it used to get really dark and blank there

The staff was not at all cooperative, and he had inappropriate behavior with us and used to argue alot even on small requests.

pretty much everything. Great value for the money. amazing pool and huge. comfortable beds which is awesome. nice big bathrooms. great privacy as villa is tucked away on quiet side street a nice 5 min walk from main road. several restaurants on same street and laundry and spa services. easy communication as well.

Very private, quiet and far from busy streets. There is a restaurant very close by that also delivers.

Would have liked a top sheet on the bed and clean towels provided. We had the same towels for 5 days.

The place is perfectly situated with convenient neighborhood ike tasty Warung, excellent massage place, nice cafe. But above all things, we fell in love with Angel-like staff welcoming us, making breakfast for us, bringing candles when power was out at night, taking special care of us just like they are our private buttler. We will be missing their genuine smile.

Very satisfactory and good value for money

It’s very well kept and very good value for money. we had a pleasant stay. It is indeed quite a walk from the villa to nearest parking, but you can find many things while walking: very good and affordable warung / restaurant to keep you well fed, laundry and massage. The staffs there also very nice. They keep the villa clean during our stay and prepare our breakfast which is included in the price

A hidden jem in Penestanan, Ubud.

this villa is a hidden jem. It’s a beautiful villa. very big pool för swimming, it is very clean and we where well taken care of. it’s quite and just perfect!

The villa was spacious,but it was quite far frm the main road.If you have children its not advisable because there is no parking nearby the villa.You have to walk about 600 metres to carpark.Only bikes can access to the small walkway..

So many toads, lizards and gekko at night because the kitchen was an open concept.

Chilin’

Rice field view was so good. Easy to find a food nearby. Staff was so helpfull and breakfast also was so good. Nice property to relax. Location was so good.

Property little bit far from parking area if you bring lot of belonging, but one staff will pick you up by motorcycle. Sometime parking area was so full and need call the staff when you need parking after going out by a car.

Hidden jem in ubud

Spacious villa with huge swimming pool.

Quite bit far from main road, but their staff will pick you up and give the motorbike for you access to go out easily. Dont forget bring your toiletries, they dont provide toothbrush and toothpaate.
