It's our 2nd stay here, location is fantastic given its away from.town, we saw Northern Lights on 7 nights, two of which were exceptional, so class ourselves as very lucky.
As this was our second visit, we noted a few areas needing a bit of TLC, but other than that location great, communication with owner also great.
We would still go again.

Birgit and Gunnar were wonderful hosts. Easy to communicate with, very accommodating. Instructions in the house were clear and concise (especially the instructions for the sauna). The house is about a 10 minute drive to Kronan (grocery) and is centrally located (almost) between Reykjavik and Vik. It is about a 30 minute drive to Seljalandsfoss which is near Skogafoss (suggest visiting both in one day since they are close to each other). Its also about an hour away from Reynisfjara and Vik (you wont even notice the time given the sights along the way). In addition to the location, the views from this house are extraordinary. Its a great place for families (allows you to spread out).
