Owners (i assume) were friendly and welcoming. The lodge is well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Everything you need in one place. Walking distance from lawson, happo bus terminal, and a little further, also walking distance to fantastic (and popular) eating places, as well as Hakuba JR station

The views are amazing and just across the street from the house. Location is not bad. Could be closer to the train station though without bags it’s a nice flat stroll to the property. Near Lawson and the Happo Bus Terminal. Owner is kind to drop us off to the bus terminal.
Property is kept clean though old . No
Kitchen. Squat toilet in room. One western style common toilet is available if needed . Pricey here in Hakuba compared to say Nagano but I guess this is becos it’s a skiing resort town.
