We booked one night stay as close to where we needed to be in the morning.

Access to walk through all the dams, breakfast and dinner at the fireplace.
A few old signs still up on the premises offering pedal boats and canoes, but it’s not available to book.

Overall the estate is beautiful, nothing is out of place, very neat and well kept. The fishing was good and the fish are in a very healthy condition.
The first thing that struck us when arriving was the overwhelming manure smell, we assumed that there is a pig farm nearby. The food was utterly disappointing, at R475 per person for a 2 course dinner, it was a big rip-off. The steaks were very tough, drenched in sauce, and tasted like cheap meat.
