About this house rental
West Haven House is on a private, 1/2 acre lot. It is easy to unwind here after a full day of the many activities offered in the Portland area. The location is the best of both worlds, with loads of privacy, yet only approximately a 10 minute drive to Portland's Pearl District.
The yard is full of large trees and there is grass in the front and on the side for the children to play. West Haven House is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood.
The house itself is extremely comfortable and clean. The beds are brand new. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet and a spacious spa like bathroom. The soaking tub is the perfect place to relax. The second bedroom has a high end queen mattress. The third bedroom has two great quality mattresses. Four of the bedrooms are upstairs and the fifth bedroom is downstairs. It feels like you are in a tree house with the view out to the yard! The bonus room has a queen bed and daybed with a trundle bed. There is also a second bathroom in the hall upstairs. Two bathrooms are upstairs and there is also a full bathroom downstairs. There is a hairdryer. All of the linens are newer and good quality. The large bonus room has a television and lots of room for the children to spread out and have their own space. The house is very family friendly.
The washer/dryer are upstairs. The fully stocked kitchen is downstairs. The kitchen is open to the dining room, which leads into the very comfortable living room, with a 50 inch television and gas fireplace. The windows throughout the house look into the private yard with plenty of trees. You may even see deer wandering through the yard!
Cable and high speed wireless internet are provided. The house has central air, although it stays very cool in the summer with all of the trees. The house is within one mile of the MAX Light Rail, that takes you to the zoo, downtown, out to the airport, etc. Market of Choice, a beautiful brand new supermarket, is about 1.5 miles away. New Season's Market is also close, as well as Costco, a movie theater, many restaurants and shops.
West Haven House is the perfect place to peacefully unwind after a fun day in the City or up at the mountain.
WE DO NOT ALLOW EVENTS AT THIS HOUSE. The neighborhood is very quiet. We also do not allow smoking or pets. Parking available for maximum of 4 cars. Check in time is 3pm. Check out is 11am.

For our siblings reunion we could not have chosen a better place ,was all more than expected. Thanks for the wonderful coffee and delicious wine.The room with twin beds had problems with light plugs not working and one lamp now switch, other than that , everything thing worked perfectly,All beds were very comfortable and loved the bi garden tub.We saw several doe with their fawn , and watching the birds early in the morning wits cup of coffee a treat

Margaret’s home is first rate. We had a fairly large group and never felt on top of each other. Very spacious!Things were exceptionally clean and the house was stocked with everything you could need and more. It is obvious how much TLC Margaret puts into the home. Communication was wonderful. Attentiveness to a special circumstance our group had was really appreciated. Absolute idyllic setting too!Highly Recommend!!!

Great neighborhood, worked amazingly for our family trip!

Seven of us stayed at this property for 5 nights. The house is in a good location to explore the Oregon coast, the Willamette Valley vineyards and the city.We cooked 2 dinners at the house. The kitchen was well equipped with enough plates, wine glasses, cooking tools, etc.The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.Even though there were enough beds to sleep more people, seven may be the maximum guests because there are only 2 bathrooms.On 2 different mornings, we had deer visit the property.
